On the border with the village of Lavino di Mezzo, but still in the municipality of Bologna, on the Via Emilia Ponente, since 1923 is located this historic restaurant bar. Ample parking for motorcycles and cars.
The menu proposed by Angelo, which changes only in relation to the offer of seasonal products, is permeated with tradition, with the classic appetizer rich in cured meats such as mortadella a tocchi, local salame, Parma ham, culatello di zibello and other interesting proposals. Among the first courses we can find the inevitable tortellini in broth, tagliatelle in different ways, tortelloni, tortellacci and lasagna in the oven, with homemade puff pastry and pulled by hand with a rolling pin. Meat, at the time of the second, cooked in the oven, grilled or in a pan. The boiled meats, the veal shanks, the roasted guinea fowl and the balsamic vinegar fillet stand out. On the finish you can take a look at the choice of cheese, with the inevitable Parmigiano Reggiano, or taste one of the homemade desserts, including the English soup, panna cotta or semolina and almond cake. The winery offers a choice between the wines of Emilia Romagna, with some interesting excursion to other regions.
