During a motorcycle trip you want to stop to admire a wonderful landscape or to live a magic place maybe sleeping directly there? Call Sleeperoo, the mobile hotel room.
A smart idea and an innovative start-up in Germany founded by Karen Löhnert and Dennis Brosseit that offers overnight accommodation at unusual locations, including football stadiums, museums, churches and outdoors. Sleeperoo is a sleep cube that stands separately for a few months in an exclusive place in nature or an exciting cultural spot to give guests a flavour of the special atmosphere of the place.
The idea is that guests spend one night alone at any of the pop-up nights listed on the site, which to date have included a historic pier in the middle of the Baltic Sea, a night among fruit trees, and overnight stays in medieval castles. The website has an interactive map that gives descriptions of all the dates and locations that are available (the english version of the website is coming soon).
The Sleeperoo has a comfortable mattress that can accommodate two adults, cuddly sheepskin rugs and pillows and integrated LED lights. Three large panoramic windows give a view of your surroundings and the sky above you. The cover of the cube can be opened wide, and the entire thing is made of sustainable materials.
There is a chillbox provided in which guests will find snacks and drinks. The cube is cleaned and the mattress is covered with fresh linen for each stay, and a toilet with washing facilities is in the immediate vicinity.
