Aprilia All Stars 2019 at Mugello circuit with all the Champs and bikes that made history

The first edition of the Aprilia All Stars, at the Mugello circuit, had more than ten thousand enthusiasts participate in a wonderful day in which Aprilia celebrated its history and its future.

Aprilia, the famous motorcycle manufacturer from Noale, celebrates its history and future, with an unforgettable event among the famous curves of the Mugello circuit: Aprilia All Stars!

Over 10,000 enthusiasts from all over the world met on the Mugello circuit on Saturday 23 March, we were there and we still have adrenaline shaking us!

We have also decided to bring Marco’s historic RS250 solo-seater to be “baptized” it in the “cult” circuit of Italian motorcycling, and witness of the countless victories that our Champions have achieved on their Aprilia.

We got there on Friday evening and we were already electrified by the atmosphere. After all, there were no cell phones and social networks 30 years ago, and the motorcycles of Noale, from fiftys to 125cc, were the center of our universe.

The day opened with a full program of events; starting from the presentation of the Aprilia Racing Team Gresini with the new RS-GPs with Andrea Iannone and test driver Bradley Smith on board.

The pit lane has been set up with the bikes that marked the history and successes of the Aprilia. And almost all the witnesses of those successes were there: Loris Capirossi, Roberto Locatelli, Alex Gramigni, Lorenzo Savadori and Manuel Poggiali, who reached the paddocks on board the new “beast” RSV4 1100 Factory with 217hp. On the starting grid the “corsaro” Max Biaggi has unveiled the RSV4 X edition, created to celebrate the tenth anniversary of its birth, produced in only ten units with its 225hp and 165kg. Marco could not resist and Max Biaggi had his bike signed, which will now be an integral part of the living room of course.

For the nostalgic of the two-stroke engines and the scent of the gas,, Max Biaggi rode his old RSW250 from 1995 for a commemorative lap. Finally, the riders took part in a fun Le Mans-style race, riding the Aprilia SR 150 scooters, won by Manuel Poggiali.

We at Moto Excape are first and foremost travelers and not racetrack riders, we must admit, this is why our experience on the track is certainly not that of many colleagues but it is here that the best comes: first lap confidence, second lap smile, third lap and following mouth and gas open wide without restraint! The RSV4 1100 factory has a 217cv heart in perfect harmony with chassis and electronics and has allowed us to feel ourselves on that saddle as if it had always been ours, intuitive, decisive and safe. The sound then served as a soundtrack to those laps, which, in a few turns, have become a symphony never tried before.

With hair still straight on the sunset, we returned to the track with all the riders who reached the circuit riding their Aprilia, for an exciting parade that filled the curves of the Mugello. Furthermore, fans of the #Bearacer community were able to meet the riders and share a real day of celebration with the whole team, including music, street food and merchandising areas.

Aprilia really made a huge gift for all its fans, primarily because the event is free and then for making the fans the real protagonists of the history and future of this famous brand. Thank you!
